How to Make Restaurant Style Thai Iced Tea

Thai tea

This is my third attempt at Thai iced tea. The first two failed miserably, but this recipe is perfect.

You will need:

1 cup of loose Thai tea leaves (I purchased mine on Amazon)

6 cups of water

3/4 cup white sugar

Half and half

Step 1: Put your tea leaves and water in a pot and bring to a boil for about 3 minutes.

Step 2: Strain your tea into a pitcher (I used my Teavana tea strainer)

Step 3: Add your sugar and stir until dissolved

Step 4: Put in refrigerator and let cool

Step 5: Once cooled, pour into glass, add ice, and 3 tablespoons of half and half

Step 6: Enjoy!

Mine has no ice because our freezer only makes ice when it feels like it, about once every couple of months.
